Safe Eviction of Wildlife

Animal Eviction

We use multiple strategies to evict the animals from your attic, basement, living space, chimney, exhaust vents, underneath porch, shed, deck, or anywhere else. Every situation is different and one strategy may be better than another.

The ability to physically remove, use traps, deterrents, and one-way excluder doors are all exercised in different scenarios. Getting the animals out is generally the first step in remediating the issue.

Sometimes you see them, and sometime you only see the evidence they are leaving behind. Things like footprints, droppings, nest material, shed skin or fur, or insulation disturbance are all indicators that the animal has been in the area and will return, even if its not currently inside. We also deal with locating dead animals that cause smells, and remove the source of those smells. Keep in mind we do NOT deal with domestic animals such as cats and dogs.

Exclusion

Keeping the animals out is how we guarantee our work. When an animal is removed from an area, it leaves traces of pheromone smells that others can pick up, making it more vulnerable to be checked out again.

Without sealing all entry points, you are simply inviting the problem back. Using the correct materials to seal entry points is crucial in preventing re entry. Knowing all the areas that can be vulnerable again in the future is also what allows us to warranty the work we do.

Roof locations such as dormers, soffits, fascias, gutter-line, gable, ridge, and roof vents, chimneys and chimney flashing can all provide a multitude of areas that animals are attracted to. Any joint of materials can become and entry point. Our goal is to prevent you from having to call us back in the future to fix what should have been done the first time.

Sanitation and clean-ups

Many animals that have taken up residence in your home or on your property will have areas dedicated to defecation. These areas, known as “latrines” can home diseases, ecto and endo parasites, and smell just plain awful.

The acidity of urine and feces can eat away at hardwood as well, resulting in costly repairs. Droppings can be highly dangerous as the spores become airborn, allowing you to breathe in the bacteria without even knowing it. Ticks and fleas can also hitch rides on these animals entering and exiting your home or property, causing infestations.

Some animals create elaborate nesting structures that provide homes for tick and flea infestations, as well as carry bacteria. All of these parasites can and need to be addressed when dealing with animal removal. We have the products and ability to treat these areas, giving you the peace of mind knowing that not only are the animals gone, but the parasites, diseases, and bacteria they’ve left behind are also gone.
